About the property
More than a guesthouse - a luxury villa that surprises with every detail. Set on the Gersa Valley, in a picturesque, secluded and quiet spot between the Telcișor and Pârva valleys, with views opening toward Țibleș peak, the property sits at 1000 m altitude, right by the protected area of the Rodna Mountains.
Modern architecture is combined with materials typical of the region: uncalibrated logs 35-50 cm in diameter, hand-sanded using Canadian log-building technique and insulated with natural sheep wool processed in Austria. The result blends classic and modern style, framed by the surrounding forest.
The 4 double bedrooms - each with its own bathroom, dressing room and wood-burning fireplace - plus the host's room add up to 10 sleeping places. The ground floor holds reception and a spacious living room with a fireplace; downstairs, a dining hall seating 16, a relaxation area with an infrared sauna, and a table-tennis table.
Access is private and opens only to guests with a confirmed booking - the property, surrounded by fir and beech forest and bordered by a river, is ideal for rest and for hikes to the Izvorul Tăușoarelor cave, 3.5 km away.
